Happy Friday friends! I’m spending the day today hiking with my wonderful blends Corrie, Heidi and Kelly! I’m so excited to be able to see them again and enjoy the beautiful Colorado landscape. To add icing to the cake, I’m also getting together with three other blends for dinner: Lena, Tiffany and Diana! I am one lucky girl to have such amazing friends.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you are probably well aware of my Colorado obsession. But, if you’re a newbie, it may all be news to you! I wanted to take a moment to reflect back on some of my history with this lovely state, and the incredible friends that I’ve made along the way.
My love affair with Colorado started in 2009.
I wrote the above post before I took my first trip to Colorado this year, which was to attend the Blend Retreat!

Greg and I actually got out a few days before Blend to hike and hang out in Summit County.

I was extremely lucky that I didn’t have to wait long to get back out to Colorado, because Greg and I had already planned on spending our one year wedding anniversary hiking Gray’s and Torrey’s!
That was one of the best days, ever. 
We also spent some time exploring Breckenridge, going to breweries, biking and more hiking.
The second part of our trip started with some awesome fitness activities with local friends/blends, including a bootcamp workout at Red Rocks!
And we wrapped it up by (what else?) drinking more great beer (with great friends).
Yay! I get too see Heather tomorrow!!
Want to know one more reason that I LOVE Colorado? I got engaged there!

It’s so beautiful in Colorado. Not to mention all the awesome rounds of friends I made at BLEND. Truly was a wonderful experience. And that’s especially true because none of us can stop talking about how wonderful BLEND, friends, and Colorado was!
And like Calee, I am jealous of (all) you CO trips! Have a wonderful time. I don’t need to tell you that, because I know you already are.
