Latest is something I’ve seen on one of the blogs I follow (maybe even yours?). Again nothing too fancy but roasted chick peas! Been trying it with different spices I have in the pantry. thinking I may try a batch with cinnamon or chocolate on them next for a sweeter treat.

Plain greek yogurt + Peanut flour + cinnamon + honey= Perfect dip for apples. Goes a lot farther for fewer calories & more protein than regular old pb & apples.
my new favorite snack is blueberries and peanut butter! i just mix them in a little bowl and gobble them up..yum!
I like to stuff dates with pistashios. Such a good little snack. Dried unsweetened mango is awesome too!
My favorite healthy snack that I’ve recently discovered is cacao nibs. Addicted.
Also, I tried maca powder. I’m trying to find a way to use it but I can’t get past the weird bitter aftertaste. I made balls with peanut butter and plant fusion vanilla, and they’re butterscotch-y, but finish weird. :/

Recently at whole foods I found lentil chips– I bought the salt and vinegar flavor ones and they are delicious! I now keep a bag in my car for those times I get stuck in traffic near dinner-time to hold me over
This week I’ve been snacking on a combination of quinoa and hummus. I wanted both, I couldn’t decide, I put a bit of each on a plate and mashed them together and dude it is delicious (better with the curry-scented quinoa I made, not as great with chili powder).
I’ve been eating plain chobani with thawed strawberries and a few almonds. So simple, delicious, sweet/creamy/crunch, and no crazy ingredients.
I recently found hummus and use it instead of cheese or mayo on my s/w to cut down calories and increase protein in my diet.

Today I microwaved a sliced apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon and dollop of peanut butter. I only thought to microwave it because it was frozen (oops!) but it ended up being DELICIOUS!!

I <3 Greek Yogurt. I mix frozen blueberries into it! Today it was what I had for lunch.
I haven’t really been buying snacks like this recently, but I have been on a pistachio kick (does that count?!).
I recently discovered APPLES as a snack. Most simple/healthy thing ever and they never fail to fill me up!
My current favorite snack is cold roasted squash or turnips, occasionally dipped in mustard or hummus. [I'm a weirdo, what can I say.] Although, after school, pre-gym/run I tend to eat oatmeal…I have found it to be the most consistently perfect fuel for my body at that time of day.
I recently bought some lean protein shakes from GNC. Only 170 calories but it helps to drink it on my way home from the gym so I don’t walk in the house and eat everything in sight!!!!

Its strawberry season here and today I had a delish bowl of cottage cheese, strawberries, some cheerios and kashi cereal, and a ton of cinnamon (:
3 spoonfuls of plain Greek yogurt + 1 spoonful of peanut butter mix it all up and put in the freezer for about 20 minutes = heaven in my mouth !!

I have been all about chia pudding lately. I make different versions (some with fruit, some with cocoa powder for a chocolate post-dinner treat and it is absolutely delicious.
I recently discovered banana soft serve! You take a frozen banana and put it in the food processor until it resembles soft serve. You can eat it plain or add healthy toppings such as almond butter.

My new favorite treat is a peanut butter-banana “ice cream”! PB2, frozen banana chunks, unsweetened almond milk, an ice cube or two, plenty of cinnamon and a little nutmeg. Sometimes I’ll throw either a serving of chocolate chips or some salted nuts in after it’s blended for some yummy texture.
Oh man… I loved those pears and the clusters!! Wasn’t that a fun box??

My “unique” healthy snack is pumpkin chia pudding! I just started making it and it is a weird consistency (like tapioca pudding) but very good for you. The proportions are 1/4 c chia, 1/4 c pumpkin puree, and 1 c almond milk (vanilla is best). I find that it doesn’t need to be sweetenend, but you can also add vanilla extract or honey for more flavor! It just has to refrigerate for around 30 min so that the chia seeds can “gel.”
I love eating 100-cal greek yogurt with a cup of Fiber 1 cereal – gets me super full!
