Happy Valentine’s Day!
No matter what your opinion is of Valentine’s Day (or as Greg calls it “Hallmark Day), there’s nothing wrong with taking a little extra time and effort to show your love to the ones you care about. Since I care about all of you, I’d like to spread the KIND love today. It’s time for another awesome giveaway!
And speaking of giveaways… today’s the last day to enter to win a sweet package from NuNaturals!
I’m sure you know how much I love KIND. Not only do I love their delicious fruit + nut (or chocolate and nut) bars and healthy grains, I also love the company itself! They created the Do the KIND Thing campaign, which is all about carrying out various acts of kindness.
And I love that.
And what better way to be KIND to all of you wonderful friends today than by sharing the love?
How would you like to win a whole bunch of delicious, healthy treats from KIND?
I’ll be choosing one winner to receive a KIND reusable grocery bag full of KIND bars and Healthy Grains. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below telling me how you’re showing love on Valentine’s Day this year (or how you DID show love!). And that love can come in many different forms: love for yourself, your significant other, the planet, your pets or even a stranger! I want to hear it all.
You can earn an additional entry by tweeting about this giveaway by cutting/pasting the following text: I want a KIND valentine this year! Enter to win some @kindsnacks love here: http://wp.me/p2oUXk-2o2 via @OatmealLauren
*Be sure to leave a comment below letting me know that you tweeted!
I will be choosing a winner on Monday, Feb. 18th at 8pm EST. Check back after that to see if you’ve won! Contest open to U.S. residents only.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I know I recently won this, but hey, LOVE my KIND bars so why not try again?
Anyway, this year I’m being kind of selfish and working on myself, focusing on myself and with that, learning to really LOVE myself. Sometimes it’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day and negative self talk that we forget to turn things around and remind ourselves what we DO like about us. So that’s what I’m doing.

I am showing love for my black lab, Ziggy. I have made a weekly schedule of walk times for both my husband and I so we can get him more excerise. It is tough when we both work full time. Well, each time we do not walk him when it is our turn we have to put a dollar in the “Ziggy Fund” jar to save up for something nice for him. – Jackie

Every year my friends and I have Best Friends Day before Valentines Day. It is a great way to get together even though we may all live in different places now.
Called my grandma
love talking to her!
I had scheduled myself a facial appointment for next weekend, but ended up gifting my appointment to one of my elderly, single co-workers. She is the most caring, thoughtful woman I have ever met & I thought she deserved a spa day. She teared up when I gave it to her. Apparently, she’s never had a spa treatment before! It was a great reminder of how amazing it feels to spread the love.
